Don't exist, at this moment, another fly rod series that could solve all the problems connected with the use of extremely thin lines or the indispensable light presentations so common when we attempt to persuade a knowing grayling, lived in a Stillwater creek, to open his mouth and accept our nymph.
Another purpose of this new and revolutionary rod series is to discover what is the length limit about an one-handed fly rod. In fact, joint to the standard measurement, has been added two oversize models of 12' line 4/5 and even a 13' for line 5/6. Both of them can be considered two excellent fly rods although the unusual length.
The rod manufacturer says about the technical characteristics
- These new rods has been derivate from the previous technology used for our TECHNIA Rod Series concerning the use of some particular mix of resins and stratification of the materials, however, these new rods benefit of an increased operative overpressure (almost twice of a standard process) to get more stiffness and allowing to use smaller mandrels, so we can have a very small section of the stem but no renounce to the reactivity. (Easy to say but very hard to got!)
- Matching the blanks we generally use a mix of four, sometime five, different kind of pre-preg carbon fibers sheets, each of them in a calculate proportion to have the maximum reactivity joint to an extreme reliability and lightness. The guides are of nickel-titanium fro REC (included the tip guide) and they are fixed, or much better should be to say "welded", with a new working process derived from our previous ICJ (integrated composites joint) used on our old rod series ADMIRA.
The main advantages are:
- General better lightness and balancing (guides and fixing weighted five time less than a standard process.)
- Being the guides only matched on the front side of the stem instead that around it, the action of the rod isn't negatively influenced from the typical "dead-points" common when use thread and glue.
The rod warranty
It is unlimited for the first rod damage, no questions asked. The next damages are solved at low price. The manufacturer will repair any guide attachment problem any time.
