Changing line retrieval direction
- First locate the lever that is located on the outside of the spool and mounted on the side of the spool cap.Slide this lever and remove the spool from the frame.Note:Never unscrew the spool cap that the lever is monted to,while the spool is connected to the frame as this may effect the alignment of the internal functions of the release mechanisam.
- Once the spool is released from the frame you now need to unscrew the spool cap mentioned in point #1.Once the cap is removed you will see two ball bearings.One bearing will be on the inside of the release mechanism.
- Once you have located these bearings,use your finger to push the bearing that is located on the inside of the spool and push the bearing inward.As these bearings are a precision fit you may need to use some force to slide the bearings out of the spool.You will first need to slide a ball bearing out of the spool,before you can access the one-way roller bearing that changes the retrieve direction.
- Once the first ball bearings is removed,continue pushing until the roller bearings is removed from the spool.
- In order to change the retrieve direction simply flip the one-way roller bearing over and reassemble it into the reel along with the ball bearing in its original position.
