Fly Lines, Cortland, Precision Floating

Cortland Precision lines are engineered to outperform other lines in every way — distance, presentation, feel, control. The series is available in a variety of fish- and condition-specific tapers and weights. And it features high-performance technologies, like PST™ for more precise shooting and superior energy transfer, high-floating Dyna-Tip that improves presentation, and coatings that extend not only the life of the line but its performance, too.

The Pro Line Cleaner is a one-step cleaner/condtitioner for fly line, packaged in a one-ounce squeeze applicator bottle. Contains plasticizers to recondition older fly lines.

The Cortland Competition Nymph is designed specifically for today’s longer 9'6" to 11' nymph rods when fishing European and high-stick nymphing methods. Built on an ultra-thin, ultra-limp braided core with a supple coating and elongated, fine-diameter front taper, the line drapes perfectly with no bellying or dragging out of the drift on longer casts.

The keys to nymphing are feeling the strike and setting the hook. Our new 0 wt. and 1 wt. competition, mono core lines excel at both. Built with the same proven taper as their larger, braided-core cousins, these ultra-sensitive, heron blue lines feature a thin, hard monofilament core.
