High quality elastic fly tying thread. While all fly tying threads have some stretch (polyester and nylon more so than GSP), Buko fly tying thread has been developed to be exceptionally elastic yet strong. The benefits of this elasticity are most notable when dubbing hair, as the dubbing material is held tighter against the hook shank compared to normal fly tying thread.

Camouflage thread is a specially developed body thread that imitates real flies. The yarn has a flat structure of fine fiber mixture. The main feature of this high-end thread is its two-tone color.

The name says it all - this specially developed multi fiber fly tying thread has a density lower than that of water and will float even when soaked. This, combined with the fact that is does not absorb much water makes it exceptionally suitable for small dry fly bodies, by adding buoyancy to the fly.

This is a new type of UV reflective fly tying thread that can be used as standard tying threads, as a body floss or as ribbing or to accentuate specific features of a fly. Perfect for instance for micronymph hotspots, ribbing of Spanish nymphs (perdigones) or incredible tails.
The development of this thread was highly challenging with focus on the colors visibility under the ultraviolet radiation.
We offer the wide range of colors from white to black, but do not be fooled at first glance; the color in UV light looks different - it is much more brighter.
